I've never had terrible experience in Mary's ever and I have been coming here for over a decade. I always get the hedgehog gelato, one scoop in a cup cuz that's all the treat I need.
The owner has been there since I was a child and he has always been pleasant to talk to.
No complaints about my Gelato! -

Please don't go there thinking it's cheaper! You get what you pay for and it ain't that cheap after all. We got two single scoop both in a waffle cone and it came to $9.50...I rather pay a bit more for better quality ice at Timothy! The flavours were quite fake and I wasn't impressed at all! Even the newer place next to them seems better!!! Not going back, no way!!!

I don't know if it's because it's not summer yet but Mary's used to have a Buy One Get One Free Ice Cream. I'm really sad that it's not there anymore. So my boyfriend and I ended up sharing a single scoop. We had bubblegum - I know, we're such kids but the red and blue swirls pack a serious jolt of sweetness. The other times I've been here I had their chocolate, rocky road, green tea, and creamsicle. They all taste good with the occasional ice chip here and there at times.
They also serve hot drinks and bubble tea but I haven't tried any of them, nor do I think I'll ever try - especially when I have other BBT favourite spots. But don't be afraid to try if you're craving it!
Overall, cute quick stop for ice cream or drinks if you're not into the line-ups at other neighbouring ice cream stops. -

Came here for ice cream last weekend. They are located right beside another ice cream store which appears to be busier.
Anything this place has a decent selection of ice cream. There should be something for everyone. I had the "espresso flakes" which was alright. It satisfied by ice cream cravings but it wasn't really a foodgasm.
They do charge an additional $0.25 if you use credit or debit for transactions less than $10. They also seem to advertise a buy 2 get 1 free special outside. I bought 2 ice creams and was not even offered the free 1 :( -

Definitely satisfies my craving for ice cream when Timothy's is too pricey and Screamers is closed for the season. Their kids cone is of a pretty good size and it's so cheap...like 1.25 each!
